Ms. Lane is our newest member of the Board, and she brings with her experience in non-profit philanthropic consulting, grantsmanship, and writing newsletters for charitable organizations.

A freelance degreed technical writer, her experience has been primarily in the areas of nonprofit web design and traditional marketing. Her initial interest in "The PROJECT!" was our self-teaching modules,"because it is a great opportunity to get back to technical communication. I strongly support the project, coming from a family of many "soldiers" in the war against breast cancer. I am interested to learn the full scope of the project."

Carriann is a professional grant writer and writes the newsletters for the several clients and the U.S. Army Social Services. Both Carriann and her husband are from western Michigan, graduated from Ferris State College in Big Rapids.

Overseeing grants, foundation relations, the Annual Fund, corporate and major gifts by the sub-committee under her guidance, Ms. Lane maintains an active, important role in our mission to prevent and detect breast cancer early, to save hundreds of thousands of lives.
