INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

Brent Berryman

Grapevine, Texas

Brent Berryman has served in various public affairs and community relation's functions for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control and its predecessor company, the LTV Corporation since 1967.

Currently, Brent's business activities include managing Lockheed Martin's employee and company contribution programs, coordinating all employee volunteer efforts, managing the company's mentoring and tutoring programs and company and employee campaigns. He serves as Lockheed Martin's Constituent Relations Manager for local relations with federal officials in the Dallas area and as the company's lobbyist for state and local issues. In addition, he has also served as executive director of the LTV Foundation, corporate meeting and event's coordinator, and managed the company's political action committee.

Brent's current civic activities include volunteering as a Mentor and Tutor in two different elementary school programs, serving on the Dallas Women's Center Advisory Committee, Treasurer of the Dallas Friday Group and the Citizens Advisory Committee of Amelia Earhart Learning Center. Previous activities include service on the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Dallas Urban League's Board of Directors, Campaign Chairman for March of Dimes, Chairman of The Dallas 40, Chairman of the President's Task Force of the State Fair of Texas, Chairman of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce Local Government Affairs Committee, President of the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Dallas Assembly. Berryman is a graduate of the first Leadership Dallas class.

In 2000, Brent received the Maura Award from The Women's Center of Dallas in recognition of support of women's issues and mentoring of women in civic affairs and business. In 1999, Brent received the Dallas Urban League's Whitney Young award for Outstanding Community Service.
