The PROJECT! was founded to provide accurate, in-depth, current information on breast cancer screening, prevention, advocacy, and to also provide care for all citizens regardless of ethnicity, spirituality, language, or economic levels, through direct contact and the Internet. We serve all who are high risk or seek screening, care and support. Led by a board of recognized professionals in their areas of specialty, and an international advisory council of experts in their fields, “The PROJECT!” emphasizes prevention and early detection through collaboration with international medical groups, communities, publications, and a speakers bureau.

We are about saving lives and saving trillions of dollars spent for treatment and care. We are dedicated to healthcare consumer education first: spawning awareness of resources, risks, and rights. We encourage, women to seek the best care for themselves, or their loved ones and we help them to do so, through direct communications, the Internet, and we also are prepared to teach basic computer skills so they may remain in touch with their healthcare providers, and broaden their world.

PROJECT! OUTREACH is committed to caring, and sharing, not changing or judging medical practices. There are many doctors who care. It is important that everyone understands there are as many things involved in the screening, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer as there are differences in women. The war on breast cancer must begin with a commitment to honesty and caring.

Very few people know what it is like to be an advocate for a woman in her last months of life because she was fearful of breast cancer screening, or wasn't diagnosed early enough, or her diagnosis was flawed. Women know. Doctors know. "The PROJECT" knows.

Our Board, Advisory Council, and volunteers spend countless hours creating our program, as well as guiding, helping, referring, and making second pathology opinions possible, without compensation, yet the reward that comes with serving to conquer breast cancer. All too often, something is not working right. "The PROJECT!" was founded to fill a large gap – to fix what is wrong by using accurate information and education.
